Job Description
This role involves development, facilitation and supervision of training programs in the company. He/she will be expected to assess the needs of the business, implement Learning and Development plans, and facilitate a variety of training programs that enhance the effectiveness of the workforce. He /She will also be in charge of Tracom Academy.
Responsibilities
Identify and assess current and future training needs through job analysis, career development plans, annual performance appraisals in consultation with line managers
Create a curriculum to facilitate Learning & Development programs based on the organizational goals
Develop and manage the training budget
Draw an overall and individualized training and development plan that addresses training needs and expected results
Design and implement a variety of training methods appropriate to meet different training needs
Organize training logistics including: venue, equipment, meals and transport as needed
Develop and implement an effective induction program for new hires
Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and provide related reports to the management
Work with the Procurement function to source trainers for the different training programs
Maintain training schedules and ensure they are executed effectively
Resolve any specific problems that may be encountered during training and adjust training programs as necessary
Evaluate effectiveness of a training program using appropriate tools and methods
Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
Work with the marketing team for production of program marketing materials
Communicate all the training programs on a timely basis
Oversees the running of Tracom Academy including: Coming up with a training curriculum; Sourcing of students to enroll for different courses; Sourcing of trainers and Coordination of classes.
Ensure compliance with company policies, departmental procedures and ISO 9001:2015
Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor and the management from time to time

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education, HR or related course
Experience
5 years working experience in a similar position
Experience in working in a learning Institution is an added advantage
